This pair of men's broadfalls (pants) is made of indigo-dyed wool in a plain weave with cotton lining. They have a button flap with brass buttons in front and two side pockets. The pants are machine-stitched and hand finished. They belonged to Archelaus Dodson and were probably made after 1850.
