Women, utilizing pieces of scrap fabric and patchwork, were able to bring beauty and color into the home with carefully pieced quilts. With these quilts came insight into the past as well as the personal lives of the women who patterned the quilts. This particular "mosaic" pattern is achieved by sewing together pieces of square and triangle fabric.
